Rada urged to use the term “rashism”

The Verkhovna Rada believes that “rashism” and words derived from it should not be thought of only as emotional vocabulary.

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy supports the initiative to introduce the term “rashism” as a definition of ideology developed in Russia, which manifests itself in the military operations of the Russian army in Ukraine and the attitude of Russian society towards it . war.

“We consider it necessary to give an official definition of the term“ rashism ”and its derivatives based on published articles by Ukrainian and foreign authors along with the inclusion of this term in the official terminological dictionary of the Ukrainian language.We call on journalists and media organizations to use the word “rashism” and its derivatives fully and frequently.in its publications and broadcasts for its gradual organic entry into the scientific, professional and colloquial discourse, ”the Committee said.
