Volodymyr Zelenskyy encouraged Ukrainians to actively use the lamp exchange program.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukrainians have already received 12 million LED lamps under the exchange program, allowing them to save up to 600 megawatts of electricity.
“Our program of replacing old lamps for new LED lamps is actively implemented. In general, Ukrainians have already received 12 million LED lamps. And if we talk about energy savings, the volume that it allows us to save up to 600 megawatts of energy. In the meantime, this is like, for example, more than half the generation of a powerful NPP unit,” said the President in his evening video message.
Zelensky urged Ukrainians to use the lamp exchange program.
Recall that the program for the exchange of old incandescent lamps for new LED lamps began on January 30 in the regional centers and Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk and Krivoy Rog. Subsequently, other cities, towns and villages throughout the country, except for the temporarily occupied territories, joined the project. You can apply for an exchange in Dії, and get lamps – at the Ukrposhta branch.
