The beating of a Ukrainian serviceman by an officer in the Zhytomyr region caused a scandal.

A video appeared on social networks in which a junior lieutenant hit a soldier in the 190th training center in the village of Guiva, Zhytomyr region. The commander of the 2nd platoon of the security company, Viktor Vitusevich, was caught in the frame, kicking a conscript soldier. This was reported by the local publication “First Zhytomyr”, and the video has already gone viral on the network.

Subsequently, the officer himself recorded a video hinting that the soldier was drinking alcohol. There is no evidence for this yet.

The command of the 19th training center on Facebook thanked the citizens for covering the information and stressed that the person involved in the incident was suspended for the duration of the investigation. The case is handled, in particular, by the State Bureau of Investigation, the Military Law Enforcement Service, counterintelligence and other competent departments.

We are building an army of a new format, where there is no place for abuse and hazing. The perpetrators will definitely be severely punished. Based on the results of the investigation, appropriate decisions will be made,” the command emphasized.

Recall that a video appeared on the network, as in ORDLO, the commander beats and humiliates those who retreated from the positions of the mobilized. He also ordered his subordinates to shoot those who did not listen to orders.
