On the territory of the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States, an official ceremony was held for the return to Ukraine of cultural and historical property, which was detained in September last year by the US Customs and Border Protection Service while trying to illegally import it’s from Russia.
Among the returned artifacts: akinaki swords of the Scythian culture of the 6th-5th centuries. BC, a flint polished ax is dated to the 3rd millennium BC, Polovtsian sabers from the times of the ancient Russian state in the 11th-12th centuries. etc.
In the future, the issue of transporting salvaged valuables to the territory of Ukraine will be resolved.
