Italy’s commitment to peace and freedom for the Ukrainian people remains unchanged, the head of the country’s Foreign Ministry insisted.
At the end of April, Italy intends to hold a conference on the restoration of Ukraine. This was announced on Friday, March 10, by Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani on his page at Twitter.
“Today, in connection with the meeting of the G7 foreign ministers, I announced that the government will organize a conference for the continuation of Ukraine on April 26 with the participation of Italian companies,” the message said.
In his statement, he also stressed that the Italian commitment to the peace and freedom of the Ukrainian people remains unchanged.
It should be noted that the previous international donor conference, aimed at supporting Ukraine against the backdrop of Russia’s ongoing attacks on critical infrastructure, was held in December 2022 in Paris with the participation of more than 45 countries and 20 international that organization.
It will be remembered that the former Vice-President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for Policy and Partnership, Pierre Heilbronn, the French President Emmanuel Macron appointed a special envoy for the aid and reconstruction of Ukraine .
