The electricity supply situation in Kharkiv and Zhytomyr is still difficult, but in the Kharkiv region, most consumers already have electricity.
After yesterday’s Russian missile attack on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, power supply is slowly being restored. The most difficult situation is in Kharkiv and Zhytomyr. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in an evening video message.
“I received reports throughout the day about the restoration of our energy facilities – facilities and networks after the Russian terrorist attack. Kharkiv – many subscribers are still disconnected. There are communication problems in the city . We were able to provide electricity to critical infrastructure. All services are working to continue the supply of energy to consumers, “- said the head of state.
According to Zelensky, by the evening of March 10, electricity supplies had been restored to most consumers in the Kharkiv region.
“It’s still not easy in Zhytomyr. Although the system as a whole is balanced, there may still be blackouts. Energy workers are working. Zaporizhia – everything is being done to protect people and the city’s energy system. Kiev – the heating network is being restored,” said the president.
The head of state thanked everyone involved in the restoration work.
“Ukrainians are strong when they protect each other. Ukrainians are free when they defend themselves,” Zelensky stressed.
It will be remembered that on the night of March 9, Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. As a result of the attack in some regions there were blackouts, problems with water supply and heating.
