On Friday, March 10, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander. One of the topics of discussion was the defense of Bakhmut. This was stated in the head of state’s evening video message for March 10.
“The meeting of the Headquarters has ended. The Commander-in-Chief (Valery Zaluzhny – ed.), the commanders of the directions reported on the situation on the front line, in general, on protecting the state. East and South, the border. Bakhmut and our ability to strengthen there. Our responses to terrorist strikes,” he said.
According to him, the Headquarters also discussed strengthening the protection of Kherson and the communities of Dnepropetrovsk, Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
Remember, the commander of the Ground Forces, Colonel-General Alexander Syrsky spoke about the situation in Bakhmut.
