Ukrainian artillerymen destroyed the Russian Osa-AKM anti-aircraft missile system in the Kherson region.
This was reported on March 10 by the press service of the naval forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The aerial reconnaissance group reconnoitered the positions of the Russian Osa air defense system on the left bank of the Kherson region, and then the gunners of the 406th separate artillery brigade struck at it.
The video shows how gunners using the M777 howitzer hit a self-propelled anti-aircraft system.

It was possible to hit the air defense system with the first shot, so Military assumes that the Ukrainian military used the 155-mm precision-guided munition M982 Excalibur.
Earlier, on February 2, gunners from the same brigade destroyed another Russian Tor-M2DT air defense system.
This was the first confirmed destruction of a rare Russian air defense system that is primarily intended for use in arctic conditions.
406 OABR has been fighting in the Kherson region for a long time and is actively participating in counter-battery measures against the artillery of the invaders.
