Western military aid will help the Armed Forces of Ukraine gain a decisive advantage in the war, the British prime minister is sure.

The UK and France are supporting Ukraine and are looking to provide the military with additional support that will be critical on the battlefield. This is what British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said, Sky News reports.

“Obviously we took the lead in providing main battle tanks, which helped encourage others to do the same. Tanks are very important,” he said.

Sunak noted that the war will end at the negotiating table, but Ukraine will decide on this matter.

“Great Britain and France stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine, like other countries. The success of last year is the strengthening of an alliance of countries, not only in NATO, not only in Europe, an alliance that reaches the world,” the British prime minister emphasized.

We will remind, Sunak previously said that London will send long-range ammunition and air defense systems to Ukraine.
