The Lithuanian journalist and activist spent the evening of February 24 on live TV encouraging donations to Ukraine. It didn’t take much to convince the Lithuanians. During one month, citizens and figures of the business world invested 14 million euros. They will buy 14 radars that will protect the skies of Ukraine from Russian missiles.
The first one, which will be used to train Ukrainians, has already arrived. LRT, the public media of Lithuania, was the originator of this operation, bringing together several organizations supporting Ukraine. “As written in our strategy, our goal is to be a part of people’s lives”, explains Ruta Putnikien, Marketing Director.
