North Korea fires three ballistic missiles

The missiles flew about 350 kilometers and fell, probably outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone.

North Korea launched three ballistic missiles. The maximum altitude of their flight is about 100 km. This was stated by Japanese Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi, TASS reported on Thursday, May 12th.

“North Korea launched three ballistic missiles in the east direction. The maximum altitude of their flight was about 100 km, they flew at a distance of about 350 km, crashed, probably outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone, “said Kishi.

He stressed that such actions by the DPRK threaten the peace and security of Japan and the entire international community.

“In this regard, we protested through the embassy in Beijing,” the minister added.

Recall that since the beginning of the year, Pyongyang has conducted more than a dozen missile tests, including testing a prototype intercontinental ballistic missile.

It was also reported that North Korea was preparing for its first nuclear test in five years. This is confirmed by new satellite images of the Phungeri nuclear test site.
