Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 102 attacks by Russian invaders in the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Shakhtyorsky directions. This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The military command emphasized that it was in these areas that the war criminals of Russia concentrated their main efforts on conducting offensive operations.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy does not stop the assault operations of the city of Bakhmut. Our defenders repulsed numerous attacks in the areas of Zheleznyansky, Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Dubovo-Vasilovka, Bakhmut and Ivanovsky. In particular, Vasyukovka, Zheleznyanskoye, Minkovka, Dubovo-Vasilovka, Bogdanovka, Bakhmut, Kurdyumovka, Ozaryanovka and Mayorsk were subjected to enemy shelling, the General Staff said in a statement.
Also on March 9, the Russians launched 95 missiles of various bases. Our defenders destroyed 34 missiles. In addition, the invaders launched 31 airstrikes using Shahed-136 kamikaze drones, half of which were shot down.
