The missile attack of the Russian Federation on the night of March 9 was aimed, in particular, at energy facilities.
The energy supply situation remains the most difficult in three areas. The most severe is in the Zhytomyr and Kharkiv regions, because these regions suffered the most as a result of the arrivals. This was reported in the company “Ukrenergo”.
In the Zhytomyr region, power engineers managed to heal critical infrastructure during the day, but repair work continues. The shelling damaged newly repaired equipment. Recovery can take up to 14 days, and now the region has introduced blackout schedules.
Critical infrastructure has already been fed in the Kharkiv region, now specialists are working on backup schemes for supplying electricity to consumers. Ukrenergo promises that the situation with electricity will stabilize within a few days.
Schedules of planned power outages were introduced in the Odessa region.
Recall that as a result of missile strikes on March 9, electricity generation and distribution facilities in eight regions of Ukraine were damaged, but the energy system remains intact.
Russian missiles and attack drones damaged three thermal power plants belonging to the DTEK Energy group. As a result of the shelling, the equipment of the TPP was seriously damaged.
