The liquidation of the consequences of Russia’s 15th massive missile attack on Ukraine’s energy system continues. On the night of March 9, the worst situation was in Kharkiv and Zhytomyr regions, Ukrenergo reports.
However, the energy supply situation in the region is difficult. The shelling damaged equipment that had been repaired after the previous three Russian attacks on the facilities Ukrainergo in the Zhytomyr region. In total, as a result of four major attacks on energy infrastructure in the region, there were six hits by missiles and three UAVs.
It is understood that repairs to the area may take up to two weeks. To provide power to the Zhytomyr region, a schedule of planned shutdowns was introduced.
Planned closure schedules have been introduced in the Odessa region. At the same time, there are no network restrictions in the Dnipro region.
It will be remembered that on the night of March 9, Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. As a result of the attack in some regions there were blackouts, problems with water supply and heating.
