Poland is ready to transfer MiG aircraft to Ukraine

The Poles have a certain number of MiG-29 aircraft left, and Warsaw is ready to transfer them to Kyiv.

Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Poland is ready to provide Ukraine with fighter jets as part of an international coalition to provide aircraft, PAP reported on Wednesday, March 8.

“The part of the MiG-29 that remained in Poland and now serves our Air Force – we are ready to transfer these aircraft, and I am sure that Ukraine will be ready to use them immediately,” said Duda .

Also, the President of Poland added that in the future Ukraine will move to NATO standards in all areas of the military field. Including the use of the F-16 fighter. Therefore, according to him, the training of Ukrainian pilots is important and very important.

Earlier, Duda said that in the future Poland may join the F-16 supplying countries.

It has also been reported that Slovakia intends to transfer its MiG-29s to Ukraine.
