“As a first step, the Russians have been offered such an exchange: we are releasing our seriously wounded men from Azovstal along the humanitarian corridor. Prisoners of war. There is no agreement yet. Negotiations are ongoing,” she said.
According to Vereshchuk, it is currently impossible to unblock Azovstal by military means.
“The defenders of Azov do not want to give up. It is worthy of respect. The Russians do not agree with the” withdrawal “. It is a fact, but it is not surprising from the Russians,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.
He noted that the government is working on various options for rescue the Ukrainian military.
