Over the past day, the Ukrainian military repelled more than 140 Russian attacks in the direction of Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Shakhtyorsky. This was reported in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 7.
It was noted that Russian troops carried out 50 air and five missile strikes. During the airstrikes, 11 Shahed-136 UAVs were used, nine of which were shot down. The invaders also carried out 59 attacks from multiple rocket launch systems, in particular, on settlements.
In the directions of Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky, the formation of offensive groups was not observed. In the past day, the areas of the settlements of Senkovka and Karpovichi of the Chernihiv region were subjected to shelling; Starikovo, Golyshevskoe, Pavlovka, Volfino and Grabovskoye of the Sumy region and Veterinary, Strelechye, Krasnoye, Ternovaya, Ogirtsevo, Volchansk and Budarki in the Kharkiv region.
Under the direction of Kupyansky and Limansky, the military of the Russian Federation is trying to break the defense of the Ukrainian troops. The Russians conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the direction of the settlements of Gryanikovka, Nevskoye, Belogorovka and Fedorovka and conducted artillery in the areas of the settlements of Putnikovo, Figolevka, Dvurechnaya, Gryanikovka and Krokhmalnoe of the Kharkov region; Novoselovskoe, Stelmakhovka, Nevskoe, Chervonopopovka and Dibrova – Luhansk and Terny, Yampol, Razdolovka and Fedorovka in the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the troops of the Russian Federation, despite heavy losses, continue to storm the city of Bakhmut and its surroundings. In the past day, just near the village of Dubovo-Vasilyevka, the enemy made 37 attacks. Also, the soldiers of the Russian Federation launched an offensive in the areas of the settlements of Belogorovka, Fedorovka, Zheleznyanskoye, Yagodnoye and Ivanovskoye – they were unsuccessful. Artillery and mortar shelling took place in the areas of the settlements of Zheleznyanskoye, Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, Dubovo-Vasilyevka, Chasov-Yar, Bakhmut, Ivanovskoye, Stupochki, Druzhba, Toretsk, Mayorsk and New York.
In the direction of Avdiivka and Shakhtyorsk, the Russians unsuccessfully conducted offensive operations in the direction of the settlements of Novokalinovo, Krasnogorovka, Kamenka, Severnoye, Pervomayskoye, Nevelskoye and Maryinka of the Donetsk region. In particular, Krasnogorovka, Kamenka, Avdeevka, Thin, Severnoye, Vodyanoye, Pervomayskoye, Nevelskoye, Marinka, Ugledar and Velikaya Novoselka were subjected to shelling by the enemy.
In the directions of Zaporozhye and Kherson, the Russian Federation is on the defensive. In particular, Vremovka, Donetsk region, underwent shelling; Gulyaipole, Zheleznodorozhnoye, Gulyaipolskoye, Kamenskoe, Tauride, Zaporozhye region; Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as Zmievka, Shlyakhovoe, Kherson, Cossack, Olgovka, Tyaginka, Antonovka and Belozerka in the Kherson region.
According to the General Staff, in order to achieve their goals of issuing Russian passports, the occupiers continue to put pressure on the residents of the Zaporozhye region. So, from January 1, in some arrangements, people who do not have a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation will not receive cash payments, in particular, salaries, because payments must be made exclusively through of cards of Russian banks.
Recall that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue to defend Bakhmut and strengthen positions in the city. This decision was made at a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander.
It has also been reported that the Russian Federation is trying to replenish the ranks of its army.
