In the village of Budarki, Kharkiv region, a spouse was killed as a result of artillery shelling by the Russian military. This was reported to the prosecutor’s office.

According to the investigation, on March 5, 2023, the Russian military shelled the village of Budarki in the Chuguevsky district. The shell hit the car in which the spouses were. The man and woman died on the spot from their injuries, the department said in a statement.

The prosecutor’s office launched a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war associated with premeditated murder (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Recall that on the night of March 2, the army of the terrorist federation launched a missile attack on Zaporozhye. One of the missiles hit a multi-storey residential building. As a result of the impact, more than 10 apartments from floors 2 to 5 were destroyed. Debris and the blast damaged nearby houses.

The impact killed 13 people. Among them is a family with an eight-month-old child.
