The city of Kupyansk, Kharkov region, on Sunday, March 5, was again fired upon by Russian troops.
After night shelling, a fire broke out in the building of the local railway station. The area of the fire was about 50 square meters. m. Rescuers eliminated the fire at 8:45. It is known that no one was hurt. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
Meanwhile, the head of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov said on Facebook that at least five residential buildings and outbuildings were destroyed as a result of enemy shelling in Kupyansk yesterday after 23:00. A 65-year-old man died due to a shell hit in a residential building. The buildings of an educational institution and a maternity hospital were also damaged by shelling.
Recall that on March 4, the Russian army actively shelled Nikopol and the Nikopol district of the Dnepropetrovsk region. The enemy fired heavy artillery and multiple launch rocket systems and damaged private houses, a hotel and outbuildings. The shelling killed a 57-year-old woman and a 68-year-old man.
