The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence predicts that the decisive and final battle will take place in the spring.
The decisive and final battle in Russia’s war against Ukraine will take place in the spring of 2023. This was said by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, in an interview with USA TODAY.
Budanov predicted that Ukraine and Russia will fight “this spring in a decisive battle, and this battle will be the last before the end of this war.” He did not provide any concrete evidence to support his claims.
Budanov also noted that before the end of spring, the Russian Federation will run out of “military tools” to achieve its goals in Ukraine.
“Russia has spent a huge amount of human resources, weapons and materials.
At the same time, he emphasized that the war will not end until Crimea is freed from the Russian invaders.
Earlier, Budanov said that the next three months will decide the events ahead.
