According to Russian law enforcement agencies, the incident occurred yesterday, March 2, in the north-west of Moscow. There, Botikov had a conflict with 29-year-old Alexei Zmanovsky, who finally strangled him with a belt and disappeared. However, soon the man was detained, he admitted his guilt.
According to the Russian Telegram channel Mash, Botikov was strangled by a gay prostitute, whom he ordered for entertainment with asphyxia.
According to the publication, the investigation found that a quarrel arose between the men on the basis of the type and volume of sex services. As a result, 29-year-old Zmanovsky killed the scientist and stole his personal belongings. Later, together with him, his 18-year-old girlfriend was also detained, who at the time of the conflict was waiting for him at the entrance.
It is noted that on the body of Botikov, in addition to traces of strangulation, several stab wounds and abrasions were also found.
