Mobile baths for the Ukrainian military are made from used shipping containers.
A video from the site where the relevant work is being carried out on their pages in social networks was published by the fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, whose foundation is participating in this project.
Where is the container from? These are supplies of ammunition from our NATO partners. They are not thrown away, but handed over to us,” Poroshenko said.
According to him, it takes one week to make one such complex, volunteers work on it around the clock, seven days a week.
We do not plan to stop there, but on the contrary, we are trying to speed up and expand production,” he stressed.
Poroshenko in the video showed how mobile baths look like at different stages of production – from the start of work to the completed complex. Completely finished baths are equipped with boilers, dryers, washing machines, water tanks, autonomous boilers and generators.
It is noted that the mobility of the baths allows you to move them between military points and serve military personnel there without distracting them from their duties.
Poroshenko also noted that this is the fifth generation of such baths, improved after being used in combat conditions. The project itself began in December 2014, and already in February 2015, the first five kungs were handed over to the military. After the start of a full-scale Russian invasion, the project was restored based on the experience gained.
