On March 3, the United States will announce a new military aid package for Ukraine.
The US will have another round of aid. It will primarily include munitions that Ukraine will need for systems they already have, such as HIMARS, said John Kirby, spokesman for the White House National Security Council.
New $400 million aid package from the US will contain ammunition for MLRS HIMARS and BMP Bradley, according to Reuters.
The package will contain more guided multiple rocket launchers (GMLRS) for HIMARS launchers, ammunition for Bradley combat vehicles, as well as bridge layers for armored vehicles, agency sources said.
The equipment will be funded through presidential powers, under which Joe Biden can authorize the transfer of goods and services from US stockpiles without congressional approval.
