The size of the salary in Ukraine and Poland was compared by the study of the international employment agency Gremi Personal. The biggest gap in wages among the 10 most popular positions on the Polish labor market, compared to Ukraine, is the position of a sales manager: we offer an average of 15 thousand hryvnias, and in a neighboring country – 92 thousand hryvnias.
Average salaries were compared based on Gremi Personal internal data and data from the Ukrainian job search website Work.ua.
The most popular vacancies for the winter period December 2022 – February 2023 were taken into account. Least of all in the top popular vacancies are cashiers and security guards — UAH 10,000 per month in Ukraine, and UAH 35,000 in Poland.
Ukrainians in Poland understand that the war will still continue, so most of them are trying to socialize on the ground, find a job, improve their professional skills in order to be able to stay for a while, – said Anna Dzhobolda, director of the Gremi Personal recruitment department.
The agency adds that now the trend of employment of Ukrainians in Poland is changing from low-skilled workers to highly skilled workers.
Over the past six months, more than 10 thousand Ukrainian businesses have opened in Poland, which prefer workers from Ukraine. In addition, a significant part of Ukrainian women have already learned or are studying the Polish language, which expands the horizons of employment, the study says.
