A metal sphere with a diameter of 1.5 meters was discovered in a cave off the coast in Kagoshima Prefecture.
Another metal ball of unknown origin was found in a cave off the coast of the Japanese island of Tokunoshima. It was announced on March 1 by MBC TV channel.
An object with a diameter of about 1.5 meters was discovered on February 28, but the police examined it only the next day.
It was noted that the ball was hollow and did not threaten to explode.
Its surface is almost covered with rust, and there is a welding line in the middle part. In addition, on one side there are arches similar in shape to loops.
Experts interviewed by the TV channel believe the object may be similar to the one seen last week in Shizouka Prefecture. According to preliminary data, it is a metal buoy.
