In February 2023, Ukrainians bought more than 2.7 thousand new cars, which is almost half as much as in February 2022. This was reported by Ukravtoprom.
“In the shortest month of the year, more than 2.7 thousand new cars were sold in Ukraine. Compared to February 2022, the market for new cars was almost divided, and by 8% compared to the result of January of this year,” the message said .
Since the beginning of the year, 5.7 thousand new cars have been added to the domestic fleet, which is 47% less than the same period in 2022.
According to UkrAvtoProm, most of all Toyota brand cars were purchased – 351 registrations (-50% compared to last year).
Volkswagen cars are in second place – 255 registrations (-9%).
BMW added 65% to sales in February – just 221 cars.
The fourth result was shared by two brands – Mercedes-Benz (+17%) and Hyundai (-38%), with 211 vehicles each.
Renault closed the TOP-5 February – 201 registrations (-69%).
Renault Duster crossover remains the bestseller of the month in the Ukrainian market of new passenger cars – 174 registrations.
