Canadian authorities have imposed sanctions against 12 members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) for human rights violations. This was reported on the website of the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Today’s sanctions list includes 12 high-ranking IRGC and law enforcement officials who have been involved in gross and systematic human rights violations in Iran,” the statement said.
