Ukraine will enter the next warming period in a worse condition than the current one, predicts Dmitry Sakharuk
Starting March 1, DTEK will begin preparations for the next heating season. This was said on the air of the national telethon of the executive director of the holder Dmitry Sakharuk on Monday, February 27.
“Now we have to prepare for next winter. In a few days, this winter will be over and this is the first day of the recovery to get through next winter. This is planned work that requires an enormous amount of work must be done,” he said.
Sakharuk added that Ukraine will enter the next warming season in a worse condition than the current one. This is due to the massive destruction of energy facilities as a result of the massive missile attack.
“We need the help of both Ukrainian forces and foreign partners to be as prepared as possible for the next winter, which will certainly not be easier than before,” he concluded.
Recall that as a result of Russian attacks, two dozen power units of thermal power plants were damaged, every second substation of Ukrenergo was attacked.
It was also reported that DTEK energy facilities were subjected to more than 170 attacks by rockets and drones, as a result of which 11,000 pieces of equipment were damaged.
