On Sunday night, an air alert was announced in several regions of Ukraine. First, the Chernihiv region is “red”, followed by the Kiev, Poltava, Zhytomyr regions. Later, the alarm spread to the south and east for several hours.
Kyiv OVA noted that air defense is operating in the region and reminded that it is necessary to stay in a safe place until the end of the air raid.
The head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak wrote that there are already positive results of the work of air defense.
Yermak also said that air defense is working in Brovarsky and Boryspil districts of Kyiv region.
Chernihiv OVA head Vyacheslav Chaus confirmed that Ukraine was attacked by kamikaze drones from the north. He also reported successful air defense work.
In this regard, the Pivnich Operational Command reported the destruction of two kamikaze drones in the Chernihiv region.
People’s Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko reported on the work of the air defense in the Zhytomyr region.
Earlier it became known that the “mopeds” were flying to Kyiv, an explosion was heard in the capital.
