This is the first official visit of the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom to Ukraine since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
“This is the first official visit of the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom to Ukraine since the establishment of diplomatic relations. I hope that this will give a new impetus to further intensify our mutually beneficial dialogue,” Zelensky said on Telegram.
The President thanked Saudi Arabia for supporting peace in Ukraine, our sovereignty and territorial integrity.
It will be remembered that in September 2022, through Saudi Arabia, Russia agreed to release ten foreign prisoners of war who fought in Ukraine.
