Armed Forces of Ukraine: Russia is building fortifications in Crimea

The military command sent 150 conscripts from the Chelyabinsk region for engineering work on the occupied peninsula.

The Russian invaders are building a defense in the temporarily occupied Crimea: they are building fortifications. In particular, 150 Russian conscripts arrived from the Chelyabinsk region to perform engineering work. In addition, the city prosecutor, due to fears of the de-occupation of the Ukrainian territories of Gorlovka, Donetsk region, has resigned and is preparing for evacuation to the territory of the Russian Federation. This was stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, published on Facebook on Sunday, December 26.

The invaders focused their main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the direction of Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Miner.

The defenders of Ukraine repelled 71 enemy attacks in the indicated directions.

The enemy continues to conduct aerial reconnaissance to correct fire.
Fired 14 missiles and 19 air strikes. He made 57 attacks from multiple rocket launch systems, there were victims.

Volynskoye, Polesskoye, Severskoye and Slobozhansky directions

No sign of the formation of offensive groups of invaders was seen.

The enemy shelled the settlements of Gorodishche in the Chernihiv region; Popovka, Stukalovka, Pavlovka and Girin in the Sumy region, as well as Staritsa, Varvarovka, Volchansk, Vilcha, Ogurtsovo and Bologovka in the Kharkiv region.

Kupyanskoe and Limanskoe directions

The enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near Ploshchadka, Nevsky, Kremennaya, Dibrova, Belogorovka, Disputed, Razdolevka, Fedorovka, Vasyukovka, and also in the area of ​​Serebryansky forestry. He conducted artillery shelling near Novomlinsk, Dvuhletny, Gryanikovka, Kupyansk, Kislovka, Tabaevka, Berestovoye in the Kharkov region and Makeevka, Nevsky, Dibrova and Belogorovka in the Luhansk region.

Direction of Bakhmut

The enemy continues to attack the positions of our troops. He conducted offensive operations without success near the settlements of Orekhovo-Vasilevka, Berkhovka, Yagodnoe, Bakhmut, Ivanovskoye and Northern Donetsk region. 22 settlements were subjected to shelling, in particular, Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Dubovo-Vasilovka, Berkhovka, Bakhmut, Ivanovskoye, Stupochki, Kurdyumovka, Ozaryanovka and New York of the Donetsk region. The enemy launched a missile attack on the civilian infrastructure of the city of Konstantinovka.

Avdeevskoe and Shakhtyorskoe directions

The invaders launched an offensive in the areas of the settlements of Nevelskoye, Krasnogorovka, Avdeevka, Severnoye, Vodyanoye, Maryinka, Novomikhailovka, Ugledar – but without success. In particular, Avdeevka, Orlovka, Vodyanoye, Netaylovo, Ostroye, Georgievka, Marinka, Novomikhailovka, Ugledar and Prechistovka of the Donetsk region experienced a fiery influence.

Zaporozhye and Kherson directions

Here the enemy defends itself and continues to throw stones at the areas of the settlements bordering the line of confrontation. Vremivka and Novopolie of the Donetsk region suffered from enemy fire; Olgovskoye, Malinovka, Gulyaypole, Orekhov and Belogorye in Zaporozhye; Manganese and Nikopol, Dnepropetrovsk region; Zmievka, Kherson, Novoberislav, Berislav, Antonovka and Kizomys in the Kherson region, as well as Matrosovka in the Nikolaev region.

SO achievements of Ukraine

The Aviation of the Defense Forces (SO) of Ukraine in the past day delivered 12 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers.

In addition, our defenders shot down three enemy unmanned aerial vehicles of different types: Orlan-10, Supercam S350 and Lancet-3.

Rocket and artillery units hit the command post, two enemy manpower concentration areas, a radar station, an electronic warfare station, and two more important combat targets.

Let us recall that earlier we reported that in the occupied city of Vasilyevka, Zaporozhye region, Russian war criminals built a torture chamber where pro-Ukrainian residents were imprisoned.

Let’s add that on February 25 it was reported that Russian troops made several unsuccessful attempts to attack Ukrainian fighters in the direction of Bakhmut.
