The total amount is almost three times higher than the initial plan of the organizers to raise 5 million euros.

Lithuanian citizens donated 14 million euros to buy radars for the Ukrainian military. This was announced by Andrius Tapinas, coordinator of the meeting, in Twitter on Saturday, February 15th.

“14 million euros from Lithuanians to buy radars to protect Ukraine. In four weeks. It’s from us. For now. We’ll be back,” Tapinas wrote.

Note that the total cost is almost three times higher than the original plan of 5 million euros. At the same time, a radar installation costs about 1 million euros.

It was previously reported that Ukraine received L-70 anti-aircraft guns from Lithuania. The Ukrainian military took a two-week course in the country on using these Swedish anti-aircraft guns.

It was also learned that Lithuania will supply Ukraine with 36 anti-aircraft missile launchers to destroy drones.
