The US president also detailed a conversation he had directly with Chinese leader Xi Jinping last summer, in which he warned him of the economic implications of Russian bailouts.
Biden said he remembered how 600 US corporations left Russia, “from McDonald’s to Exxon – all over the place,” adding: “And I said, ‘And if you’re participating in the same kind of brutality, that supports the brutality that is happening. ,’ I said: “You can face the same consequences.”
