In Warsaw, police found and arrested an online fraud suspect with the help of a cat that spotted a man in the dark. This was reported to the police press service, PAP reports.
It was noted that the man was suspected of multiple Internet frauds on a popular sales site. He was placed on the wanted list by several courts; in addition, a location order and an arrest warrant were issued against him.
Forensics from the police station in Warsaw established the possible whereabouts of the man and went to his home.
Police said the suspect’s mother-in-law said the man was not home, however, police entered the home, where there were three people and a cat.
“It was the pet’s behavior that caught the attention of law enforcement officers. The cat peered carefully into a dark place under the stairs. The police checked what was there. They threw a thick blanket and found a wanted 25-year-old child under it,” the police said.
The handcuffed man was taken to the police station, then sent to a temporary detention center.
It was previously reported that a cat with a sad snout became the star of the Network. The animal has almost a hundred thousand followers on Instagram.
