Ukraine will not sit down at the negotiating table with Russia in Turkey.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky today at a press conference in Kyiv on February 24.
A Turkish journalist asked the President of Ukraine whether he agreed to the proposal of Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan to sit down at the negotiating table if Vladimir Putin was already waiting for him there.
I don’t get it,” the President replied.
Zelensky said he asked Erdogan to bring Putin to the negotiating table before the war. But then Erdogan could not organize this meeting.
Now he says that he can arrange this meeting. But we can no longer. There is no one to talk to anymore,” Zelensky replied.
The President believes that Putin is no longer the person with whom you can negotiate.
Recall that Zelensky today called the conditions under which it will be possible to diplomatically put an end to this war.
