The updated Ukrainian self-propelled artillery installation of 155-mm caliber 2S22 “Bogdan” was presented by the Kramatorsk Heavy Machine Tool Plant at the international exhibition IDEX-2023 in Abu Dhabi.
This is reported by the publication “Military”.
On the stand of the model it is indicated that it:
- adapted for rapid deployment on all types of terrain;
- has a computerized system of automatic guidance and target tracking;
- weighs 28 tons;
- can fire at a speed of up to five rounds per minute, the ammunition load is 20 rounds;
- the crew consists of five people.
The customer is offered a choice of ACS modifications on the truck chassis manufactured by Tatra, Kraz or MAN.
Recall that the self-propelled guns “Bogdan” played an important role in the liberation of Zmeiny Island from Russian occupation.
