A significant increase in large fires in Russia in recent years is not an accident – there are material incentives. This was stated in an interview with Forbes by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kirill Budanov.

“Most of them are not an accident. Something keeps burning. The signaling equipment on the railroads, it burns several times every day, on different highways continuously for 2 -3 hours, sometimes for 5-6 hours, traffic is suspended in the entire section. which is not just burning,” said the head of intelligence.

Answering the question of whether Ukrainians are helping to fuel the fire in Russia, Budanov said: “Why only Ukrainians? I will say this – money works wonders.”

As you know, large fires in the Russian Federation happen almost every day. For example, on February 18, a fire broke out at a chemical plant in Ufa, Russia.
