After lunch on February 21, Russian troops launched a massive strike from “Gradov” on Kherson Wednesday.
Fragments of enemy shells killed five civilians who were at a public transport stop in the Suvorov district of the city, many citizens were injured.
The regional military administration said that shells also hit the territory of the car park – two people were injured there. In one of the houses, due to the hit of Russian ammunition, a woman was injured in her own apartment.
Ammunition also exploded near healthcare facilities and infrastructure facilities. There was an explosion near the medical facility – the building was damaged, the building of Khersonoblenergo was also fired upon, it was damaged.
Garages and cars are burning in the places of hits. Near the Freedom Square, a fragment of a shell damaged a car, as a result of which a man was wounded.
So far, 16 wounded are known. Among them is a 16-year-old girl who was diagnosed with a mine-explosive injury and multiple debris wounds to her face and limbs. She was hospitalized in a state of moderate severity.
