A war criminal, Russian President Vladimir Putin is able to mobilize hundreds of thousands more Russians for the war against Ukraine. The New York Times writes about this, citing US intelligence officials.
U.S. intelligence officials say they are getting evidence that he (Putin – ed.) may soon mobilize even more Russians into the army, adding hundreds of thousands to the 300,000 already drafted, the NYT quotes the words of intelligence officers.
The publication added that in an address to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Putin will once again declare his intention to “save” not only Ukraine from “Nazism”, but also Russia – from the absorption of NATO.
The NYT writes that this statement seems meaningless to Europeans, but it “has become a rallying cry in Moscow.”
The publication also suggests that the Russian dictator will present a full-scale war against Ukraine “as a battle to restore Russian historical lands.”
Recall that on February 21, the central streets of Moscow will be blocked for vehicles due to Putin’s message to the Federal Assembly.
