At least 19 people died, 228 were forced to leave their homes, and 338 were injured. heavy rains on the north coast of the state Sao Paulo (Brazil), as reported this Sunday by the regional government.

“It’s a scary scene,” San Sebastian Mayor Felipe Augusto said on social media after visiting the area where 50 houses collapsed.
The municipal administration reports 24 deaths in San Sebastian alone, which, together with the death of a child under the age of 7 in Ubatuba, raises the death toll to 25.
The floods also flooded homes and vehicles in parts of the affected cities.
Rainfall in the region from Saturday to Sunday exceeded expectations for the entire month in the four most affected cities.
