Throughout the war in Ukraine, 461 children died

As of February 19, at least 1,385 children have been affected by the conflict in Ukraine.

In Ukraine, as a result of the mass invasion of Russia, 1,385 children were injured, of which 461 died, and more than 924 received injuries of varying severity. This was announced by the Office of the Prosecutor General on its Telegram channel on Sunday, February 19.

“These numbers are not final. Work continues to establish them in war zones, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories,” the message said.

It was noted that most of the children suffered in Donetsk region – 445, Kharkiv – 272, Kiev – 123, Kherson – 87, Zaporozhye – 84, Mykolaiv – 83, Chernihiv – 68, Luhansk – 66, Dnepropetrovsk – 64.

It was previously reported that in Russia there may be around 150,000 children illegally taken out of Ukraine.
