In the power grid of Ukraine today, February 19, in the morning electricity consumption is below the whole week, which is typical for Sunday.

Consumption growth is forecast tonight and tomorrow morning, February 20th. This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo.

Now it is extremely important for the power system to avoid both peak loads and consumption dips. We ask you to distribute the use of energy-intensive devices during the day, the company notes.

It is noted that consumption limits in the region did not fall due to the absence of a shortage in power in the energy system, however, in the event of a change in the situation and with an increase in consumption, shutdowns may be applied.

Tomorrow, February 20, measurements of actual consumption will also be extended.

Scheduled outages are still enforced due to network restrictions in Odessa and the Odessa region. Also, hourly shutdowns are possible in certain areas of Kyiv and the Kyiv region in connection with the repair work carried out by regional energy companies, Ukrenergo notes.
