US President Joe Biden, as part of his visit to Poland next week, will make a statement in which he intends to send a signal to the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin. This was said by the representative of the White house on national security John Kirby in a briefing.
According to him, on Tuesday, February 21, Biden will deliver a speech in Warsaw, which he will dedicate to the anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“And I suspect you’ll hear him talking to Mr. Putin as well as the Russian people,” Kirby said.
Also during his speech, Biden will make it clear that America will continue to support Ukraine in resisting Russian aggression.
It will be recalled that the White House said that US President Joe Biden’s travel program to Poland does not yet include a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
