For the first time, a trilateral meeting will be held between Ukraine, the European Union and NATO.
Next Tuesday, February 21, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, EU chief diplomat Josep Borrell and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will meet in Brussels. The parties will meet at NATO headquarters, and then give a joint press conference. This was reported in the press service of the North Atlantic Alliance.
The chief diplomat of Ukraine stressed that this would be the first meeting of representatives of Ukraine, NATO and the EU in such a format.
I look forward to meeting with Jens Stoltenberg and Josep Borrell to strengthen our partnership and cooperation for the sake of protecting Ukraine and Europe,” Kuleba said.
Recall that in February, at a meeting of NATO defense ministers, Stoltenberg said that Russian President Vladimir Putin, instead of being ready for peace in Ukraine, is taking new offensive actions.
Also, the leadership of the North Atlantic Alliance called on the participating countries to prepare for a long war, because the aggressor country Russia is already preparing for it. For example, Moscow has not only mobilized more than 200,000 additional troops, but is also ramping up Russian military production and getting more weapons from other authoritarian regimes, including Iran.
