Rashists on the night of today, February 17, fired at areas of at least 12 settlements in the Kharkiv region, including Volchanskaya, Novomlinskaya, Dvuhletnaya, Kupyanskaya and Gryanikovka.
In Volchansk, in addition to artillery, the enemy used combat aircraft. This was announced in his Telegram channel by the head of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov.
Also after 23.00 on February 16, the invaders hit Kharkov with S-300 air defense missiles. Arrivals took place in Osnovyansky and Kievsky districts of the city.
The following consequences of Russian shelling have been recorded:
- in Kupyansk, shelling damaged private households, garages and a car. There were fires;
- in the village of Bolshoi Burluk, a 44-year-old woman was injured due to shelling, hospitalized in a state of moderate severity;
- there were no casualties in Kharkiv. The blast wave damaged the shops of one of the enterprises.
Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of Russian invaders in the areas of the settlements of Gryanikovka and Sinkovka.
The press service of the Kharkov regional prosecutor’s office notes that the shelling of Kharkov was carried out from the territory of the Belgorod region of Russia. A part of a downed enemy missile was found in the Kievsky district of the city.
