“We are supporting the family of the British citizen who died in Ukraine and are liaising with the local authorities,” a Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office spokesman said.
The family of the deceased British citizen has requested confidentiality, according to the British Foreign Office, which continues to recommend avoiding any travel to Ukraine.
At the same time, no other details about the circumstances of the Briton’s death have been reported.
It is noteworthy that this is the eighth dead Briton since the beginning of the Russian Federation’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine.
