It was noted that on January 19, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation held a meeting with the participation of the head of the department, Sergei Shoigu, and the head of the General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, where the quality of the military was discussed the uniform given today. The military criticized the quality of the uniform, as the overalls did not meet the requirements for thermal insulation. After the meeting, three generals responsible for the work of the rear services were fired.
After the incident, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation chose a new contractor – Gardarik’s company.
According to the publication, prices on Gardariki’s website are higher than similar businesses. After the company was criticized in the press and social networks, the prices disappeared from its website.
One of the owners of the company, 22-year-old Artem Stepanenko, according to media reports, is the son of the deputy head of the Federal Property Management Agency, Dmitry Stepanenko, who also served as the head of government of the Yaroslavl region.
It is noted that Stepanenko and the second owner, Ivan Silchenko, also own the companies Artiv, Guy (both created in 2022) and Berkana.
It can be recalled that, according to intelligence data, since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, at least six Russian commanders have been fired and 10 Russian generals have died.
Earlier it was reported that one of the Deputy Ministers of Defense of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Bulgakov, who was responsible for the logistics of the Russian army, was dismissed.
