In ten countries of the world, 1,000 respondents were surveyed, in another eighteen countries, 500 each. The survey was conducted on different continents.
The majority of the population of 28 countries of the world continues to support Ukraine. This was reported by the Russian service of the BBC with reference to the results of a survey by the consulting firm Ipsos.
The poll showed that citizens of most Western countries strongly support Ukraine.
According to Ipsos, in 28 countries:
64% of respondents closely follow news about Ukraine;
71% believe their country should avoid direct military involvement in conflict;
66% believe that Russia should be excluded from international sports competitions;
66% believe that their country should accept refugees from Ukraine.
In 13 Western countries:
67% of respondents believe it is important to maintain restrictions on Russian oil and gas exports, even if it affects heating their homes;
57% – for supporting Ukraine until Russian troops leave its territory;
48% support the supply of weapons and air defense systems to Ukraine.

The survey (of 1000 respondents) was conducted in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Spain, USA; (500 respondents each) Argentina, Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Sweden, Thailand and Turkey.
