On February 13, there will be no blackout in most areas. The state of the power system has improved recently.
In most regions of Ukraine on Monday, February 13, power outages were not planned. The head of Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytsky announced this on the air of the telethon.
He noted that most consumers spent the weekend without power outages. Local restrictions only affect areas where, due to damage to the networks, it is physically impossible to deliver 100% of the required electricity.
“On February 13, we also do not predict a lack of capacities in the energy system. And we predict that there will be no losses in most areas,” said Kudritsky.
According to him, today the state of the energy system is better than recently.
“And I can even say that, judging by the pace of recovery, it is now faster than the pace of destruction. Despite this, everything can change, so let’s not relax in advance,” he added.
At the same time, Kudritsky predicted that if everything continues as it is now, the situation will change for the better.
Earlier, Ukrenergo announced that there was no capacity shortage. However, when demand increases, emergency shutdowns may apply.
Recall that on the night of February 10, the Ukrainian military destroyed 20 Shahed-136/131 strike drones, launched by Russian aggressors. At the same time, damage was reported to three power facilities in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
