Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky imposed NSDC sanctions against two hundred individuals associated with the Russian Federation. This is stated in Presidential Decree No. 75.
Zelensky signed the corresponding document on February 12. Control over the implementation of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council was entrusted to Secretary Alexei Danilov. In addition, the National Security and Defense Council, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers were ordered to monitor the effectiveness of personal sanctions, and the Foreign Ministry was ordered to inform the competent authorities of the EU and the USA .
Thus, the president imposed sanctions against 199 citizens of the Russian Federation and a Ukrainian – collaborator and traitor Yuriy Chernichuk, who was “appointed” by the invaders as the new “director” of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
A full package of personal penalties for a period of 50 years was introduced against the persons included in the list. The order goes into effect today.
As we wrote earlier, Zelensky introduced NSDC sanctions against almost two hundred journalists, actors, singers – citizens of the aggressor country Russia.
The Ukrainian head of state also noted earlier that Cyprus is ready to support increased sanctions pressure on Russia.
